Portuguese Escudo de vermelho, uma lisonja de prata carregada de cinco escudetes de azul postos em cruz, os dos flancos apontados para o centro, cada um carregado de cinco besantes de prata, a lisonja envolvida por uma coroa de espinhos de prata, tendo brocante três coroas antigas de ouro com pedraria de verde e vermelho, em roquete. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ SANTA JOANA - AVEIRO “.
