LAUBENZENDEL

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Weissenburg-Gunzenhausen (until 1972 Gunzenhausen)
Incorporated into : 1971 Gunzenhausen

Wappen von Laubenzendel/Arms (crest) of Laubenzendel
Official blazon
German Unter von Silber und Schwarz geviertem Schildhaupt schräglinks geteilt; oben geschacht von Rot und Silber, unten schwarz.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 16, 1958.

The village was a possession of the Margraves of Ansbach, who were represented locally by the Lords von Lentersheim. The arms thus show in the chief the quartered shield of the Hohenzollern dynasty for Ansbah, and the arms of the Lords von Lentersheim.
