NO 881 SQUADRON, FAA
History: First formed in 1941 at Royal Naval Air Station Lee-on-Solent as a Fleet Fighter Squadron with Grumman Martlets. Disbanded in 1945.
English | Blue; a base barry wavy of four white and blue a sword in pale white winged gold. Motto: Ense constantur alato. |
Origin/meaning
The Motto in Latin translates as "Steadfastly with winged sword". The Badge was approved on 25 april 1944.
