English Red; out of a ducal coronet gold an ostrich head silver in his beak a key invected gold standing between two ostrich feathers silver.

Motto: Manus haec inimica tyrannis

Origin/meaning

From the Arms and Motto of Lord Carysfort a Lord of the Admirality 1757-1962. The Latin motto translates as "This hand is deadly for tyrants". The Badge was approved on 14 October 1920.
