Official blazon

In durch schwarzen Pfahl gespaltenem Schild vorne in Silber über blauem, schräglinkem Wellenbalken ein schwarzes Wasserrad, hinten der Hunolstein’sche Schild: in Gold zwei rote Balken begleitet von 12 (5:4:2:1) roten Steinen, halb.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 14, 1964.

The wheel and bend refer to the historical watermill in the Traunbach, the Brandmühle. The other half shows the arms of the former Achtelsbach Vogtei (territory) to which the village historically belonged.
