Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 16, 1983.
The arms show the castle of Granera (10th century), that became the centre of a barony (this fact is symbolized by the baron's crown at the top of the arms). The two wheat ears at each side of the castle are canting: the name Granera reminds grain in Catalan.
