944TH CIVIL ENGINEER SQUADRON, US AIR FORCE

History: Constituted as 944 Civil Engineering Flight on 13 August 1971. Activated in the Reserve on 1 January 1972. Inactivated on 1 January 1977. Redesignated as 944 Civil Engineering Squadron on 31 October 1983. Activated in the Reserve on 8 November 1983. Redesignated as 944 Civil Engineer Squadron on 1 March 1994.
