Arms of Planken

Von Weiss und Grün schräglinks geteilt, im weissen Feld ein sechseckiger, goldener Stern.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 7, 1943.

The name "Planken" comes from the Romansch word plaunca, meaning "a slope". The arms represent green mountain meadows with the starry sky above.
