Escudo de prata, com uma barra diminuta ondada de azul, acompanhada à dextra por um açor de negro, realçado do campo, sustendo nas garras um escudete de azul carregado de cinco besantes de prata e, à sinistra, de um inhame arrancado de verde; campanha diminuta ondada de verde e prata de três peças. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: " RIBEIRA SECA – CALHETA ".

The arms were officially granted on October 28, 2002.
