German In Gold auf gewölbtem grünem Boden der silbern nimbierte hl. Laurentius mit blauem Ober- und Untergewand, mit der Rechten einen aufrecht stehenden schwarzen Rost, in der Linken ein rotes Buch haltend.

Origin/meaning

Leutesdorf received city rights from the Archbishop of Trier in 1332. The oldest known seal of the city dates from the 15th century and already shows St. Lawrence, the patron saint of the city. Even though the colours have changed during the centuries, the arms itself never changed.
