Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 4, 1919.

The arms are based on the arms of the Abbess Anna Katharina von Nunnum-Düker of the Sterkrade Convent. The arms combine the arms of the Von Düker family with the arms with the raven of the Von Hounpel family (from whom she descended).
