The arms were officially granted on August 13, 1932.

Origin/meaning

In zilver een aanziende uil met ontplooide vlucht in zijn klauwen houdende twee takjes van de tawaäng plant, ieder met acht bladeren, zoomede zes speren, waaiervormig geplaatst met de punten benedenwaarts gericht, alles in natuurlijke kleur. Wapenspreuk  :"Fides pacta" in gouden latijnsche letters op een lint van azuur.
