POIANA CÂMPINA
District/county (județ) : Prahova
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 14, 2004.
The two-headed eagle is taken from the arms of the Cantacuzino family, former lords of the village. The stars are a symbol of the Virgin Mary, the patron saint of the Poiana Monastery. The silver bar refers to the Prahova River.
