De sinople à la croix ancrée cantonnée de quatre étoils et accompagnée de cinq autres, une à chaque canton de l'écu et une en pointe, le tout d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 30, 1999.

The arms are those of the De Goegnies family and appeare don the seal of Peissant in the 16th century. The 9 stars refer to the nine former municipalities.
