FLOREFFE

Province : Namur
Additions: 1977 Floriffoux, Franière, Soye

Armoiries de Floreffe

Official blazon

D'azur à une rose de jardin, tigée et feuillée de quatre pièces, à dextre, et à une lettre capitale F à senestre, le tout d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 8, 1992.

The arms are based on the arms of the Floreffe Abbey, to which the village historically belonged. Even though the municipality already applied for the arms in 1971, it took until 1992 before they were actually granted.
