Official blazon
English Black; the upright figure of Boadicea gowned gold arms aloft in her dexter hand a spear erect flanked by her daughthers all within a chariont bearing a schyte on each wheel and drawn by two horses forceny all gold.

Motto: Vincta sed invicta

Origin/meaning

Th Queen of the Iceni Tribe who fought the Romans until defeated in 60 AD. The Latin Motto translates as "Bound but unconqured". The badge was approved in 1929.
