History: Formed at Risalpur, India in October 1941.

Motto: Percutit insidians pardus.

Origin/meaning

The Panther's Head symbolises the Operations in Assam and Bengal where the Black Panther is plentiful. The Motto translates as "The watchful panther strikes". The Badge was approved in Janaury 1945.
