Origin/meaning

The arms are not officially granted.

The wheel and the book indicate that it is a technical school.

The tower refers to the origin of the school, which was founded by the Dutch Reformed Church in Uitenhage and the school initially was teaching on Christian believes. The school is also named after the Reverend Daniel Pienaar.

The motto, Omnino Paratus, means fully equipped or fully prepared.
