Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on June 13, 1947.
The arms show an oak tree, taken from the old seal of the Oppunda hundred, to which the area historically belonged. The other half shows the arms of the Kagg family, which originated from the municipality and to which Fieldmarshall Lars Kagg belonged.
