Official blazon
Un scut albastru, încărcat cu un șevron de argint, pe care se află trei cruci treflate, roșii; în partea superioară, doi butuci de viță de vie, fiecare prins pe un arac, cu frunze și struguri de aur, plasați unul în dreapta și altul în stânga. La baza scutului, pe fond roșu, două săbii de argint, încrucișate, cu vârful în sus. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint, formată din cinci turnuri crenelate.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 30, 1998.
The vine stems allude to traditional viticulture. The chevron, the crosses and the swords evoke the defense fight, especially the events that took place in the area during the Revolution of 1821.
