Palau is divided into sixteen states (until 1984 called municipalities).
None of these states uses arms.
The National Arms of Palau
Palau does not use a national coat of arms, but the above seal. The seal is derived from the older seal of the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands.
The seal shows a traditional meeting center. 'Olbiil era Kelulau' means National Congress of Palau.
