OBER-RAMSTADT
State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Darmstadt-Dieburg (until 1975 Darmstadt)
Additions : 1975 Modau (1971 Nieder-Modau, Ober-Modau), Rohrbach, Wembach-Hahn (1927 Hahn, Wembach)
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1930 and are based on the old seal of the city, which is known from 1625. The roses are a symbol of the local court and also for St.Mary, the patron saint of the city.
