Escudo de Orpí

Official blazon

Escut caironat: de sinople, un pi d'or acostat de 2 espases flamejades d'argent guarnides d'or, en banda la de la destra i en barra la de la sinistra. Per timbre una corona mural de poble.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 30, 2001.

Canting arms: they show a "pi d'or" (Catalan for "golden pine tree"). The two flaming swords at each side are the attribute of the archangel St. Michael, the local patron saint.
