Official blazon
Escudo de prata, com um pinheiro de verde frutado de ouro troncado e arrancado de negro, acompanhado por dois cachos de uvas de púrpura folhados e sustidos de verde. Em chefe de azul, um anel de ouro com um rubi de vermelho, acompanhado de duas flores-de-lis de ouro. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco, com os dizeres : " CIDADE DE CANTANHEDE " de negro.
