Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Bad Ems
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms show St. Martin, the patron saint of the city. Already the oldest 15th century seals show the saint with the sun and stars. In the 19th century a green base was added, but it was removed again when the arms were officially granted in 1908. In 1912 the prefix Bad was granted.
