REHBURG
State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Nienburg
Incorporated into : 1974 Rehburg-Loccum
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were probably devised in 1648 after the granting of the city rights. The roe (Reh) and castle (Burg) are canting symbols. The oldest seal dating from the end of the 17th century already shows the same image. The arms have thus not basically changed since. The nearby spa Bad Rehburg used similar arms.
