Gevierendeeld, 1 en 4 van zilver met drie klissen van sinopel (wat is Clichthove) 2 en 3 van zilver met drie molenijzers van keel (wat is Hocquingem), over alles heen van goud met een aanzienden hertekop van keel (wat is Cerf).
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on November 19, 1934.
The first and fourth quarter of the arms show the arms of the Clichthove family, Lords of Gullegem in the 18th century. The second and third quarter show the arms of the Hocquingen family, an important local family. The escutcheon shows the canting (in French, cerf=deer) arms of the Cerf family, an important local family in the 16th century.
