(de) In Rot ein silberner, mit einer schwarzen Wolfsangel belegter Schrägbalken, begleitet oben rechts von 7, unten links von 6 silbernen Rosen mit goldenen Kelchblättern und goldenen Butzen.
Origin/meaning
The 13 roses refer to the 12 villages in the municipality, plus Nienstedt, which belonged to the Samtgemeinde until 1971.
The wolf-hook was often used on border stones and refers to the fact that the area was on the border of the Gronau and Winzenberg estates.
