Official blazon
Blue, in the chief two white wolves' heads torn off at the neck; and in the base two crossed silver swords with gold hilts passing through a gold mural crown.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on April 5, 1902.
The wolves' heads are from the arms of Sir John Aird, the first Mayor of the borough. The swords are from the arms of the See of London.
