Arms of Outjo

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The bull refers to the agriculture in the district; the typical mountain in the upper left corner is the Stone Finger rock close to the town. The lower part shows an elephant for the Etosha National Park, just north of the town. The crest is the unique Welwitchia mirabilis plant, found only in Namibia.
