TRÖSSING
State : Steiermark
District : Südoststeiermark (until 2015 Bad Radkersburg)
Incorporated into : 2015 Gnas
Official blazon
Im grünen mit silbernen Buchenblättern bestreuten Schild, silbern ein gekrönter wasserspeiender Schwanenrumpf.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on September 23, 1991.
The leaves of beech are a reference to Schloß Buchenstein, which lies in the municipality. The swan's rump breathing water is to symbolise the numerous Artesian wells in the region. The tinctures are derived from those of Styria.
