State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Rems-Murr Kreis (until 1973 Waiblingen)
Incorporated into : 1970s Schorndorf (Baden-Württemberg)

Origin/meaning
Buhlbronn became a separate municipality in 1819. The seal of the village in the 19th and early 20th century showed the arms of Württemberg with the name of the village. Only in 1960 the local council adopted the above arms, which were officially granted on March 28, 1961. The arms show a well (Brunnen in German) as a canting symbol, and a green hill, for the village is situated on some hills.
