OKRIFTEL
State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Main-Taunus Kreis
Incorporated into : 1972 Hattersheim am Main
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted in 1938 and are based on the local design dating from 1922.
The oak is the so-called 1000-year old oak tree in the village. The silver and black colours are derived from the colours of the arms of the Lords of Isenburg, who ruled the village from 1439-1803.
