SANKT STEFAN IM ROSENTAL
State : Steiermark
District : Südoststeiermark (until 2015 Feldbach)
Additions : 2015 Glojach
Official blazon
Im silbernen Schild unter schmalem grünem Schildhaupt eine fünfblättrige, rote, goldbesamte Rose.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 11, 1955 and again on December 1, 2015.
The arms are those of a family of noblemen from the Middle Ages, the Hagegker, who owned the lands in the region. The green chief was added for difference, as the rose is frequently met with in heraldry.
