In Silber über blauem Wellenschildfuß eine gemauterte, zweibogige rote Brücke.
Origin/meaning
The arms show a bridge, which is a canting element. The local bridge was of such regional importance that it was protected by a small castle.
The municipality was create din 1897 and in the same year these arms were proposed by the State Archives and accepted by the municipality.
