HEDMARK PROVINCE
Incorporated into : 2020 Innlandet
Official blazon
I grønt tre oppvoksende sølv barkespader.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 6, 1987.
Hedmark is the most densely forested province of the country. It was thus decided to design a composition based on forests and forestry. Finally the above design was chosen, with three spades made of birch wood.
