GWALIOR TRANSPORT COMPANY, GWALIOR

History: raised in 1890 as Gwalior Imperial Service Transport Corps. Served in Chitral in 1895 and in the Tirah Campaign 1897-98. In 1901 reorganised as Gwalior State Transport Corps Inperial Service Troops. In 1904 it was given its last name. In 1918 it served i Mesopotamia and in 1919 in the 3rd Afghan War.
