Escudo de azul, com um leão de ouro sustendo nas mãos um báculo do mesmo metal. Em contra-chefe um rio ondado de prata aguado de azul. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco com os dizeres a negro : " SANTO TIRSO ".
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 14, 1984 and before on January 22, 1951. The only difference is the crown, see below.
