The new arms were granted on July 2, 2019.
The arms are a combination of the elements from the arms of the two former entities. Both former arms used the silver balls of the Lords of Sickingen, the two quarters in chief are taken from the arms of Verbandsgemeinde Kaiserslautern-Süd.
The bordure is typical for a Verbandgsgemeinde and the 12 parts symbolise the 12 municipalities in the Verbandsgemeinde.
