Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on June 23, 1965. Unfortunately we have no information on the meaning or origin of these arms yet. These arms are a simplified version of the 16th century seal of the village, which shows St. George killing the dragon. St. George was the local patron saint. To simplify the image the dragon is killed by a red cross, the symbol of St. George.
