Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on September 10, 1993. The municipality consists of the villages of Linda and Pohlen. Both were historically characterised by streets lined with poplar trees. This is symbolised in the arms with two rows of poplar leaves. The centre shows a red linden leaf, which is a canting element. The arms are based on the seal of the municipality form 1946, which showed a lane with poplars and a linden tree.
