Origin/meaningThe arms were granted on January 25, 1980. The arms are a combination of three canting roses and the arms of the Lords of Osterwick. The latter owned in medieval times the Estate of Osterwick in the municipality, and thus played a major role in the local history. The three roses symbolise the three former municipalities.
