In Blau eine silberne Brigg, begleitet oben rechts von einer strahlenden goldenen Sonne. Origin/meaning The arms were officially granted on August 20, 1997. The arms were designed for the seal of the village in 1948, but the arms were never granted until 1997. The ship refers to the longtime maritime traditions in the village, as well as to the sailing school founded in 1846.
