WALDFISCHBACH-BURGALBEN'
State : Rheinland-Pfalz
District (Kreis) : Südwestpfalz
Additions : 1969 Burgalben, Waldfischbach
Verbandsgemeinde : Verbandsgemeinde Waldfischbach-Burgalben
German | Von Schwarz und Gold gespalten, rechts ein linksgewendeter aufgerichteter silberner Fisch, links ein rotbewehrter und -bezungter roter Löwe.
Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on August 11, 1980. These arms were adopted after the merger of Waldfischbach and Burgalben in 1969 combining symbols from both older arms. For Waldfischbach a silver fish on black and for Burgalben a red lion on gold. Both background colours combine the colours of the Kurpfalz black and gold.
