Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on September 28, 1938. The arms are canting (the name means jumping lamb), with an additional symbol (hops), and are derived from the arms of a local monastery. The lamb (holding a crozier) already appeared on the seal of the monastery dating from the 16th century. The village at the same time used a seal with two leaves of hops. In the 1930s it was decided to combine the two different arms.
