In Rot ein silberner Leistenschragen, bewinkelt von vier zweiblättrigen goldenen Eichenzweigen mit einer Eichel Origin/meaning The arms were granted on March 19, 1998. The arms show a cross, which symbolises that the village is an important junction for both roads and railways. The oak branches symbolise the many forests in the area as well as the four villages in the municipality.
