Origin/meaning
The upper half shows the lion of the Counts of Schwarzburg, who ruled the area for many centuries. The base shows seven linden leaves, derived from the old seal of the village, which showed seven linden trees. The meaning of the trees is not known. The blue bar is a canting element (Bach is stream, brook).
