Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on November 14, 2012.
The unicorn is taken from the arms of the Von Retzdorf family, who owned Gross and Klein Breese from the 14th until the 18th century.
The needle refers to the Singer sewing machine company in Wittenberge, which became the main employer in Breese in the early 20th century. The thread is formed into a letter B for Breese.
