In Gold eine rote Zinnenmauer mit zwei kleinen schwarzen Rundbogenfenstern und einem geschlossenen Tor, darüber ein halber roter achtstrahliger Stern. Im silbernen Schildhaupt eine halbe lippische fünfblättrige Rose mit goldenem Butzen und Kelchblättern.

The arms were granted on July 9, 1958.

The upper part shows the rose of Lippe, the meaning of the lower part I don't know.

Hupp showed different arms in the 1920s, based on the old seals of the city:
