Origin/meaning
The arms of Öpfingen were granted on February 13, 1951.
The arms are based on the medieval Lords of Öpfingen, who used in a golden field a black and silver bend. To distinguish the arms of the village of Öpfingen the bend was made only black. These colours are also the colours of Württemberg.
